It’s Not Just About Golf

Myrtle Beach golf vacationsWhether you’re coming with your pals, your gal friends, or your family, you can’t go wrong with our Myrtle Beach golf vacations. There’s over 110 courses in the area for you to play on plus a multitude of miniature golf courses for the kids as well. There’s shopping that will outdo any shopping you’ve previously done – from outlets to malls to specialty beach shops full of beachy decor – it’s all here.

What we’re saying is that Myrtle Beach golf vacations don’t have to just be about the golf. Sure, you’ll be vacationing in the Golf Capital of the World but that doesn’t mean that’s all there is to do here.

For instance, the Silent Cities at Brookgreen Gardens has tours at 12 and 2:30 p.m. every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday through March 1. Take a ride on Brookgreen Gardens’ new Trekker through little known roads to their Silent Cities. On the tour you’ll walk through the graveyards of former slaves and plantation owners as well as learn about the burial customs of the people from that time. Tickets are $15 in addition to garden admission for the two-hour tour. Reservations are recommended.

Myrtle Beach golf vacations could also include taking in local theatre events. The 2012 theater lineup of the Coastal Carolina University Theatre is full of twists and turns. Servant of Two Masters will be performed at 7:30 p.m. February 16-18 and 22-25 at Edwards Theatre on campus. Servant of Two Masters follows a crazy servant, Truffaldino, as he schemes to serve two masters at the same time, therefore doubling his wages. Watch as the hilarious story unfolds on stage. General admission is $15. Student, staff, senior citizens and children are offered discounts.
